Your appointments are very important to the team members of The Glossary Salon, it is reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least three days notice for cancellations. In order to reserve your appointment on our schedule, we require you to have a credit card on file with us.
Strict and Enforced Three Day Cancellation Policy
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and guests on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 72 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply.
Potential Cancellation Fees
- Less than 72 hours notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the service amount.
- “NO SHOWS” will be charged 75% of the service amount.
- If an appointment is made within a 24 hour period and needs to be cancelled, the guest must request the cancellation within 4 hours of the appointment time or it will result in a charge equal to 50% of the service amount.
The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our team members’ schedules filled, thus better serving everyone. The Glossary Salon’s policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for our established and future clientele. As a courtesy, we send out text reminders to confirm your service appointments two business days prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee.
We also send out text reminders two weeks prior to your appointment date. You are welcome to communicate through our system to cancel or reschedule your upcoming appointment as it is a direct connection to our Experience Coordinator.
